Private tutor in Homestead, FL
Education
Andes University - BA, Foreign Languages , Nova Southeastern University - MS, Instructional Design
Experience
In Columbia, I completed a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Linguistics, studied University Management and went on to teach French, Spanish, and English. In 1999, I relocated to the U.S. and earned a Master of Arts degree in Instructional Design. I am now working toward a PhD in Conflict Resolution from Nova University. Over the course of my educational career, I have taught at universities in the U.S. and abroad, served as a college-level adviser at institutions in the U.S. and Columbia, and served as a grant coordinator. This range of experience has provided me with a broad perspective and varied tools for both instruction and effective administration. My subject range is also broad based: I enjoy Political Science, Philosophy, History, Debate, and Writing, among other subjects. A core tenet of my tutoring philosophy is that each individual can impact society. As a teacher, tutor, or administrator, it is up to me to provide the guidance and motivation necessary to allow each student to achieve his full potential. Outside of work, I am a black-belt level Martial Artist and enjoy camping, minimalist survival exploration, reading, and movies.
